Raveena Tandon sees herself in Kareena Kapoor

Ask Raveen Tandon about her favourite actress among the new lot and she minces no words when she names Kareena Kapoor. She in fact sees a lot of her in Kareena. She feels that Kareena has a very strong personality and is absolutely electric on screen unlike most other actresses in today’s times. Raveena feels most actresses are short nowadays and she prefers the taller women and feels that Kareena has got good height which is ideal for an actress. Raveena made her debut in 1991 opposite Salman Khan in “Pathar ke Phool” and was considered very ravishing in her heydays. She quit films after getting married to film distributor Anil Thadani in the year 2004. They are blessed with two wonderful children Rasha who is 4 years old and Ranbir who is nearly 2. Raveena was seen recently on the small screen as a judge on a reality show for kids called “Chak de Bachche”. She can again be seen as a judge on Colors in the program “Miyan-Chapter2”. She will soon be seen in a film “Chassni” to be directed by Revathy Verma which would also star Jaya Bachan. Raveena is on top of the world right now for having lost nearly 2 pounds just by running behind her kids. She is currently on a holiday in Singapore with her family and is enjoying to the fullest.
