Lara doing comic roles

Lara Dutta hasn’t had much success when it comes to her film career. Some of her films which did get a fair opening and that which went down well with the audiences have all been comedies. So Lara has now decided to take the comic route. After “Partner” and “Bhagam Bhag” Lara would soon be seen in two more comedies, “Houseful” and “Do Knot Disturb”. She says that “Houseful” would be her third comic film and she is not intimidated by the huge starcast. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Jiah Khan but Lara says that amongst the girls she has the best role. The other film “Do Knot Disturb” is from the master of comedy David Dhawan and Lara is paired opposite Govinda. David and Govinda have rendered many a hits in the past. Lara has worked with Govinda in “Bhagam Bhag” earlier but she says the two will share more screen space in this film. The film also has Sushmita Sen and it is for the first time that the two Miss Universes would be seen alongside each other. There were reports that Lara is taking a break after “Billu” failed at the box office but she rubbishes them all and says that she has quite as few releases lined up and we need to watch out for them.
