Kareena shivering in Ladakh

Rajkumar Hirani’s “3 Idiot’s” team is busy shooting in Ladakh at the Pangong Lake. The place is 13900 ft above sea level. Many complain of breathlessness there as the oxygen level is low. That is how it was for the cast and crew of the film as well. The film, stars Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and Madhavan. Kareena says, “We had little oxygen, no electricity and no hot water. On top of that I was in a wedding ghagra-choli outfit in that freezing cold, can you imagine! That wind almost swept me off my feet.” Kareena wore thermal clothing along with her clothes for the film but it wasn’t of much use. But she says all the effort was worth it as it was for a wonderful film and Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman were all good fun and Raju Hirani she says is a “gem”. She has finished her work in Ladakh and has reached Delhi where the heat is unbearable. The contrast in weather has taken its toll on the actress’s health. She made it to Delhi so as to be there for her sister’s birthday which is on 25th June but Karishma happens to be abroad. That’s just too bad Bebo, maybe you can all be together next year.
